RFID Competence Center

The RFID Competence Center is a "real world" implementation of RFID and related technologies in a familiar environment that demonstrates the usability and advantages of these technologies in a wide-range of supply chain and manufacturing applications. The ability to see and try, first-hand, the singular benefits of RFID technology is all you need to understand the enormous impact that this technology can have on your business.

GATC has joined together with Intermec Technologies Corporation, Toyota Material Handling CR, Cisco Systems CR, Aimtec and Schoeller Arca Systems (one of the largest manufacturers of RFID enabled plastic boxes and palettes) to create the RFID Competence Center. This center is located at Toyota's facilities, 10 minutes from Prague International Airport and GATC's office.

The RFID Competence Center hosts a complete year-round program of RFID workshops and presentations. It is also the venue for the most important conferences offered in the Czech Republic relating to logistics and supply chain management. The RFID Competence Center also provides partners and customers the opportunty to test various RFID applications and related solutions under operating conditions similar to those at their own facilities.
